A long analysis that concludes there is nuance in what Hochul is doing. In the end there will be no nuance: she will go as far Left as she needs to in order to stay in power in NY. All the energy in NY Democratic politics is on the crazy Left because they show up in primary elections in massive percentages. A year from now there will be no important policy disagreements between Hochul and Mamdani.

There wasn’t a single word in the article about potential positive results from any of the policies.

Apparently “Striving to Make Blue States Work” only means “Democrats Win Elections”.

Today’s Democrats define “success” based solely on how much money is thrown at a program that professes good intentions.

The only questions are when can NYC expect to get its own “Quality Learing Center” and will the funds get funneled to Al Shabab or some other terrorist organization?

If Democrats want to improve trust in government, then they need to go after welfare fraud with even greater zeal than Republicans. On immigration, as long as Democrats keep pushing the “sanctuary” nonsense and refusing to honor ICE detention requests for murders, rapists, gang bangers, etc. Trump will continue to come off as the lesser evil.

I get it. Democrats have utterly failed at energy, housing, environmental regulation, "affordability," but no worries, we'll get it right this time.
