Why shouldn’t we expect the same results we’re seeing after the Democrats won in VA? I.e. Doubling down hard on all of the issues voters rejected in 24, while raising taxes on everything in sight.
Define populism. Returning power to the people? Besides being a cliche, we have, and have had for 250 years, a representative form of government. I don't think "populist" advocate changing this political arrangement. What about the claim the America is run by oligarchs? Again, this is a simple cliche. We have a regulated free market economy that has created far wider prosperity than any alternative economic system. Broad based prosperity is the goal.
