This was excellent analysis. Dems will probably win both races, even though there is not a sliver of daylight between AOC's, Spanberger's and Sherrill's voting records and policies. Reps are lousy at messaging and Dems are experts at convincing voters their candidates are much more moderate, than they are in actuality. During Biden's reign, neither Spanberger or Sherrill ever called for Dems to close the border, or stop flushing trillions on Green fantasies, Bill Gates now admits are not real.

Neither did either ever support the rational middle ground of trans athletes competing in their own categories, while utilizing school facilities denoted only for them. They could have easily championed, while adults should live as they please, children should not share school showers or athletic fields with kids with different genitalia, but they refuse.

Spanberger, who claims to have 3 daughters in public school, really defies all logic. After multiple instances of rapes in Virginia public schools by intact transgender students and transgender adults, exposing themselves, in formerly exclusively female school spaces, she refuses to stand up for females. Forgive my bluntness, but what kind of Mother puts her political ambitions over the safety of her own daughters?

Sherrill hit DC and morphed into Warren Buffet, pocketing $7 million dollars in stock trades and then snagged 2 seats at the Naval Academy for her 2 daughters, in the same year. Congressional insider trading is legal, but that does not mean it should be rewarded with a stay in the Governor's mansion. The nepotism is nauseating and most telling. Sherrill fully expects her surfs to simply accept the obvious nepotism and graft, even in an election year.

Dems may win the battle, to lose the war. Winning these elections is likely to convince Dems , there is no need to reexamine policies. That is probably not helpful, in the long run.

Comparing with Ruiy's Free Press piece will these elections contribute to or further erode the Democrat's brand country wide?
